Rene Hudon started RJ Millwork as a very small company in 1980. He started with one employee and did anything needed by his clients. He started doing some millwork jobs and realized this was the calling of his young company. He slowly added employees as the years went by.

He then moved from his small shop on Rannock Ave into the present location on Loudoun Rd. This was a large shop in comparison and he needed to bring in a lot of work. So he started to bid on jobs on the open tender market where we get 95% of our work today. Building a very good reputation with the local General Contractors in Winnipeg and surrounding areas he began to receive larger jobs and grow every year. RJ Millwork believes that the high level of customer service it provides is the basis for it's reputation with the general contractors we deal with.

He took on full time estimating and leaving the shop and site work to his qualified crew and continues sculpting the company into his vision. As every year has passed, RJ Millwork has grown to take on new challenges faced with the market fluctuations. RJ Millwork has seen many companies in the market come and go and still remains as one of the leaders.

Completing several large and high profile projects with some of the leading contractors in the country, RJ has expanded to complete jobs in other provinces and in the USA markets. Contractors such as PCL Constructors, Manshield Construction, Bockstael Construction, and Bird Construction just to mention a few, have been some of the companies we have completed projects with.
